An E-Girl Sketch

So, today my DH comes home from work and tells me that his aunt Amy's boss "knows" me from being in the Dirty Dozen and wants to meet me(or go to a party with me sometime)...how cool is that!! As soon as I heard that I immediately thought of this sentiment from the soon(within the next 2hrs) released Who's That E-Girl? set by MFT, I'm Famous Online!! Too funny!! Anyway...if you are here now, you should totally be at the member forum on SCS participating in the release cocktail party!! I used the new E-girl image, which I paper pieced and colored in with my SU markers. I layered it with Rose Red and Chocolate Chip. I used Chocolate Chip Patterns paper and Rose Red DSP. The ribbon is all from SU too. For the floor, I colored it with my Creamy Caramel marker and drew the wood panels with my black SU marker. I used today's SCS sketch challenge too!! That is it for now...off to the party!!

Prettie Wednesday-Score!!

If you are here for the hop, look at this card first then go to the next post...LOL!!! Seriously, I crack myself up,!!
Anyway, it is time for Prettie Wednesday!! Two weeks ago, Jackie Pedro(strappystamper), challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card with a scored background, and now comes time for confession....I don't own a Scor Pal or Scor It.....I know right??? So when it comes time to do a scored background, I struggle a tiny bit...but never fear, I worked it out(sorta). I used my Fiskars personal paper trimmer and my bone folder to make my score lines(can you see them there on the white panel). I layered it with Bordering Blue and Chocolate Chip. The DP is from the Chocolate Chip Patterns Pack and I added my sentiment( for the Worship Him set) to the bottom along with some silver brads, felt ribbon, and piercings. The main image is from the new Nativity set from Paper Pretties. I colored "Joseph"(really Cooper in disguise) with my SU markers and outlined him with my Prismacolor Cool Grey Marker. This card is way more simple than I usually do, but honestly....these new images from Paper Pretties are just too cute to overdo, if you ask me. They definitely speak for themselves.

So, have you been to the Paper Pretties boutique??? Well, if you haven't, you are missing the BIGGEST sale EVER!! Seriously, it is unbelievable....75% off everything but the swavorski crystals and Prettie stamps!!! What a deal!!! Be sure to get there fast, cause once it's gone, it's gone!!
That is it for me now, got lots more stamping to do for the release tonight and for some other upcoming deadlines!!
Be sure to blurf around and see what the other Prettie Girls have got cooked up for you!!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Welcome To The HOP!!

Welcome to the very first My Favorite Things blog hop!!WAHOOO!! Recently, Kim, the MFT lady herself, asked for suggestions from our loyal MFT customers about things we could do as a company to promote the new stamp sets OTHER than our cocktail parties(which aren't going anywhere, so don't worry). So wanna know how it works? I thought you would!!! Well, the hop starts at 12am EST at Kim's(the MFT lady) blog. From there, she will link you to the next "stop" on the "hop"....sounds like a Dr. Seuss book, LOL!! Anyway, if you are here now, and you haven't been to Kim's blog yet..GO THERE NOW to start the hop!! Be sure to follow it all the way through so that you can see ALL of the stops...there may be surprises along the way!!
So for my card I decided to use the new Cupcake Flopsey set.
If you know me at all, I love my animal stamps...and Flopsey is no exception!! Would you get a load of that GINORMOUS cupcake Flopsey is holding...YUMMO!! I colored the cupcake icing and Flopsey's ears with my SU markers and then paper pieced the cup part of the cake with some yummy Sweet Always paper from SU. For my card, I followed Julee Tilman's Mojo Monday Sketch. I added some Felt Fusion flowers from SU with some large and small white Bazill brads. My sentiment was punched out with the Key Tag punch from SU. The chocolate brads are from American Crafts and the clear drops are from Stamping Bella. I did a ton of piercing and added three silver spiral clips with some Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon, white taffeta ribbon, and chocolate grosgrain.
Well, that concludes my "stop on the hop"!!! Next stop, my friend, and one of my FAVORITE stampers, Joanne Basile!! Check her out at her blog- Just a Little Something...
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
