MFTeasers-Cuddle Up Carter

It is the beginning of the month almost, so it is time for another My Favorite Things release, hre are the details!!

My Favorite Things (http://www.mftstamps.com/) is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, April 1st from 9-10 PM EASTERN. This month there are 4 new sets being released!Head over to the MFT forum HERE to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. We hope to see you there on Wednesday night.

For my card today, I am using the newest MFT presents set, Cuddle Up Carter.
This is our newest charity set, designed for fellow DT member Carole's son, with $2.00 from every set sold over the next 6 months going to benefit kids with Cerebral Palsy via the non-profit Euro-Peds clinic (http://www.europeds.org/) in Pontiac, Michigan. I stamped the train from the set, and colored it in with my Copics. I then layered it with Riding Hood Red, Ballet Blue and Wild Wasabi. The DP is from the K&Co. Hopscotch pack. I paired it with some white brads from SU along with some retired Wild Wasabi ribbon. The frog was stamped and colored separately and cut out. Isn't it cute!! The sketch is this past weeks sketch challenge over at SCS.
That is it for me now, thanks again for stopping by!!

I added a ton of piercing, and used some yummy Corduroy brads from SU. The ribbon is from SU also. For this card, I used this weekend's Sketch For You To Try. The colors are Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss.

For my peek today, (well, not so much a peek, but DEFINITELY a GORGEOUS stamp FINALLY being released to the public) I used last month's Stamp of the Month-Sophia Ballerina. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. White and colored her in with my Copics. I paired her with some yummy Pink Flamingo DSP from SU. The ribbons are both from SU, as well as the brads. I did a lot of piercing, and used my SU scalloped edge punch for the center strip. I think I was channeling my inner Jodi for this card, she is such an inspiration to me!!
That is it for me now, thanks for stopping by!!

Little Paper Shop Monday Challenge

Scroll down one post for my There She Goes Blog Hop post!!

Every Monday on the Little Paper Shop blog there is a challenge posted. I have a bunch of LPS stamps and I have ALL the digital images, so I like to use this challenge to use them!! GO me!hehe!! Anywho, for today's card, I used this weeks challenge, which was a color challenge(LPSC09). The challenge was to use Riding Hood Red, Kraft and Chocolate Chip. I used my Katie Swing digital image and colored her in with Copics. The DP is from the Slumber Party DSP from SU(thanks Officer Jacque!!). I used both the Bouquet and Latte Buttons from SU, all of which have some linen thread put through them. The ribbons are both SU, but the spiral clip is from Creative Express. My sentiment was stamped directly on the DP with Memento Rich Cocoa. The sentiment is from the LPS set, Bound By the Heart. I love this set because you can fill in the blank with whoever you are giving it too(ie. Mom, Dad, Mother, Father...).

Well that is it for me now!! More to come later!!!

The Final Day!!

My blog is gonna be pretty busy today, so be sure to keep checking back for posts!!(There should be 4, yikes, I know-I promise not to make a habit of it, but it's release time baby!!!)

Today is the final day of the There She Goes pre-release blog hops!! Today's hop started at Jessica's blog again, and after you get done here, you need to go to Joanne's blog to continue on the hop. Three new sets are being released on April 1st, and they are SO CUTE!! Want a chance to win one of the new sets? I thought so!! Just be sure to comment on all the Trendsetters blogs and then go back to Jessica's blog and put your name in the Mr. Linky box provided!!
Today's peek is of the new set, Tastes Like Chicken...it is HYSTERICAL!! Maybe it is the country/small town girl in me that can really appreciate this set, but man I LOVE it!! When I saw this image, I started crackin up. For those of you that have never been in a rural area, I have seen toilets as planters, tires, and actual bed frames sticking up out of the ground...people are nuts, what can I say. I decided to use the toilet image for that very reason! I stamped the toilet on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers. The image was then cut and embossed with my Cuttlebug and Circle nesties. I then layered it with Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Pretty in Pink. The color combo was this past week's SCS color challenge hosted by my pal, and fellow Trendsetter, Jodi- blame her!! For the base and center panel, I used some Walk in The Park DSP-seriously YUUMMMMYYYY!! The white brads are from American Crafts and the ribbon is from SU. I punched my sentiment out with my Scalloped Oval punch and large oval punch. The sketch is actually from this week's Featured Stamper, JustPaintingAround...super talented chick!!
Well, that is it for me for now...like I said before, lots goin' on 'round here today, ya know!!hehe
Off to Joanne's blog...and incase the chain is broken, here is a list of all the participants in order!!

Day Two- Tweeterpated!!

Today is the second day of the There She Goes pre-release blog hops!!
For my card today, I used the new Tweeterpated set to make a baby card for some friends of mine that just had a baby girl!! I stamped the sentiment, dotted swirls and flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. white card stock. I used my Copics to color the flowers(there are actually two of them there connected by a brad). The sketch is this weeks Weekend Sketch Challenge, designed by my girl Charmaine. I used my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities to cut it and it's Certainly Celery layer. The other color of card stock is Regal Rose, and the DP is from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl pack. My ribbon is from SU, as well as the brads. I added some Icicle Stickles to the dots, though now I wish I hadn't have...oh well!! Well that is it for me now, off to Joanne's blog!!

Let The Previews Begin!!

It is time for another There She Goes release, and today we are previewing the SUPAH cute new set, Cupcake Mix & Match. From my blog, you will be hopping to Joanne's blog. Three new sets will be released on the first, so we will be having a blog hop for the next three days. Then on Tuesday, Jessica will be showing the full sets on her blog. For my card, I paired the cake image from this set with my Parisian Summer DSP. I stamped the cake on Very Vanilla paper and colored it in with my Copics. I then cut it out and layered it on a Very Vanilla oval that was cut out and embossed with my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties. The colors on this card are Pink Pirouette, So Saffron and Bravo Burgundy. The pink ribbon is from May Arts and the Vanilla taffeta is from SU. I used a gold spiral clip and some Very Vanilla brads from SU. Well, that is it for me now, off to Joanne's with you!! Have fun and have a great day!!

Happy Friday!!

Happy Friday!!! Today is my day of the week to post something Prettie for ya, but before I do that, here is some info you need to know!!

Paper Pretties is having a release on April 1st so that means it is time for another CUTIE PIE CONTEST!!! Besides getting to call yourself a CutiePie, you will also receive all the new stamps that are released on the 1st!! Good luck!!

Okay, now that I have that over with, here is my share for today!! It is actually a set of 3x3 cards and a box to hold them. I made them for the last Prettie party and just haven't had a chance to share them yet. I used the April Stamp of the Month, Hola Chica, and paired her with some Bella Rose DSP. I made the box and cards using a template that I found on SCS. All accessories and paper came from SU, except for the white which is from Gina K. You have until midnight on the 31st to get signed up for the Stamp of the Month Club and get Hola Chica mailed to you before she is released.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!

Spring Sprouts

Sadly, while I was away for a little bit, I missed the mid month release at My Favorite Things. This month we released two new sets from a BRAND new artist. The new artist is Sara Williams, and she is TOTALLY talented and fabulous!! Her two new sets, Funky Flowers and Spring Sprouts, are part of the MFT Presents line and are so CUTE!! For my card, I used the new Spring Sprouts set. I stamped two of each of the flowers that I used from this set. For the larger two, I stamped them twice and then popped up the flower. I colored them all with my Copics and then added a glitter dot to their centers. The colors are from this weeks Color Challenge, hosted by my girl Jodi, and the sketch is this weeks MFT Sketch(74). My sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments set from MFT. The colors on my card are Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, and Kiwi Kiss. The DP is from SU, along with my two ribbons. The spiral clip is from Spare Parts and the brads are from American Crafts. Well, that is it for me now..busy busy busy with new release samples so stay tuned!!

Prettie Wednesday- Bookmark

Two weeks ago, Christi challenged the Prettie Girls to make a bookmark. For mine, I used my favorite Parisian Breeze DSP and some Chocolate Chip cardstock. I stamped my image from Simply Special twice, once on Gina K. white and once on more of the DSP. I paper pieced the watering can and then colored the rest of the image with my Copics. I did some piercings, added some brads from American Crafts, and used some Valet Ribbon Originals for the top. The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
Want to play along? All you have to do is make your bookmark and leave a link on any one of the Prettie Girls blogs so that we can all see your work. Here is a list of the other girls participating!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!

Happy Birthday Frances!!

Hoot! It's a Birthday Blog Hop Prettie Girl style... with a dash of owl-y goodness tossed in for fun! The amazingly talented Frances is celebrating a birthday today and the Prettie Girls just had to throw another virtual party! The hop started at Jacque's so if you didn't start from there you might be missing out on some of the fun! :) When you reach the end of the hop make sure and leave a little love for Frances wishing her a Happy Birthday! The next stop on the blog hop is Jackie R's blog..so be sure to go there next!!

Since Frances LOVES owls, we all decided to try to incorporate owls into our cards. I used my Flutterby image, which I stamped on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then paper pieced the dress with some Good Morning Sunshine DSP. The flower and pearls were colored in with my white gel pen. The rest of the image was colored in with my Copic markers. The sketch is from this past week's SCS sketch challenge. My cute little owl is from the My Favorite Things set, We're Not Scared...cute right? I did a TON of paper piercing and added lots of embellishments, all of which are from SU. The sentiment is from the Paper Pretties set, Bugs and Fishes. It was punched out with my word window punch. W

Well, that is it for me now. Be sure to head to Jackie's Blog for the next stop on the hop!!

Not For the Faint of Heart...

Did you know that There She Goes is having a Changing of the Seasons sale? Here are the details taken from Jessica's blog!!

Everyone loves a sale and starting this month There She Goes will be having a Changing Of The Seasons sale! The sale will be from Friday the 20th (the first day of spring!) - Tuesday the 24th. There are 4 stamp sets that are each 15% off! This season's sale sets are-Crafty Taglines $12.75 (reg. $15.00)LOL Taglines $18.70Welcome Home $18.70Special Delivery $12.75 (reg. $15.00)

I decided to use the LOL Taglines set so that I could tempt you to go shopping, is it working?? Honestly, for this sentiment alone, the stamp set is worth whatever you have to pay for it...if you ask me, LOL. You can see why I said not for the faint of heart though, right? I just didn't want to scare anyone off.hehe. I stamped the muffin three times on Gina K. White and then colored the tops in with my Copics. The bottoms were paper pieced with some Washington Apple DSP. I then added some Crystal Effects to the tops to make them look yummier! I then used my 1 1/4in square punch and my scalloped square punch to make the three image panels. The sketch is Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I added some SO Saffron Poly Twill ribbon as well as some Riding Hood Red taffeta. The panel behind the images was made using my Scalloped edge punch from Su and some more Washington Apple DSP. Isn't that sentiment priceless!!

That is it for me now..thanks for stopping by!!

My First Little Paper Shop

Isn't this image SUPAH cute!! It is one of the new digital stamps(ETA: I got a question from someone that didn't have a way to directly reply to them...she asked if a digital stamp could only be used once...the answer is no. You buy it, download it, save it your computer and it is yours forever!!) from the Little Paper Shop. I paired it with a sentiment from the new Blessings set that was released on the 17th. I used this past Monday's Mojo Monday sketch for my card as well. The image was printed three times, twice on Gina K. White and once on some Sweet Always DSP. I paper pieced the egg and then colored the rest with my Copics. The hands were cut out of the third image and added on top of the egg. The end of the image panel, as well as it's Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose layers were rounded using my Large Oval punch. I added a spiral clip with some Pretty in Pink taffeta on it, as well as some white satin ribbon from SU. The brads are also from SU. This card also works for the Little Paper Shop blog challenge(LPSC08), to make a monochromatic card.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

A Long Absence

So, for those of you still coming to my blog, you may have noticed my long absence. It is hard for me to believe that I haven't blog since last Friday(the 13th...told you that day would be unlucky). Lots of MAJOR changes have taken place in my life in the last week, and I won't lie and say that it hasn't directly affected my mojo. I am not quite ready to talk about it publicly yet, but when I am ready, trust me, you all will be the first to know. Today is the first time I have stamped since last Friday, and although I felt a little out of practice, it felt SO GOOD to get back to my table. I have taken a tiny break from my Design Team work, but I am lucky to work for and with the most AMAZING people in the world, and I think they know I can't WAIT to get back in the swing of things...in fact, I don't think it will be long. I made this card for my Mom to give to a friend of hers. She just got accepted into Nursing School and my Mom is super proud of her. I just hope she likes the card, LOL. Today, when I saw the featured stamper was Beate, I was super excited and a little shocked....I still can't believe that she hasn't been the FS before, can you? Anywho, I decided to CASE this card of hers. I changed the colors, DP, added a few layers, changed the images, and added wide ribbon instead of the scalloped piece. I liked the bird theme, so I decided to use my A Little Birdie Told Me set from SU. I paper pieced the birds with some East Coast Prep DP and then used my C2 Copic marker to make the shadow. All the accessories are from SU, as well as everything else..although the paper is sadly retired.
Well, that is it for me now...I need to get some more stamping done so I can preset my blog for the week!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day...I missed you guys!!

I'm This Week's Cupcake Sampler!!

Words cannot even express how EXCITED and HONORED I was to be asked by Taylor to be her Cupcake Sketch Sampler for this week!! I must have redone this card a hundred times, LOL!! But as nervous as it made me, I would do it again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for asking me Taylor, it is truly an honor!! For my card today, I used one of my FAVORITE Paper Pretties stamps, Sweets for the Sweet(currently out of stock, sorry, I really hate it when I do that. Be sure to check out the Pretties store too, Christie is now carrying Shimmerz, Blingz, and is having a GREAT sale on Copics!!) I stamped it on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it in with my Copics. The bar the utensils are hanging on was colored with my Silver gel pen. I then cut it out and layered it with Pumpkin Pie and Cool Caribbean. The DP I used is from My Mind's Eye, it is so yummy!! I cut the circles out with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. The ribbon is from SU( white taffeta and Pumpkin Pie grosgrain). I added some large white American Crafts brads too, along with some piercing. The sentiment was cut out with my Ribbon Slide tag dies and my Cuttlebug. Super cut huh!! Thanks again Taylor for choosing me, I can't wait to see what her team has come up with for this sketch too!! Thanks and have a great day! My Mom is getting married today, so Congrats Mom, I love you!!

Green Bugs...

So, I wasn't able to play in yesterday's Ways to Use It challenge, so I decided to combine it with today's Limited Supplies Challenge. The WT was to make a Green card, whether it be that you used recycle products or just the color green. I decided to go with Wild Wasabi, my favorite green that is sadly retired. For today's LSC, you had to use some sort of bug stamp, four layers and no patterned papers....oiy. This one was hard for me, but The end result is cute, plain, but cute. I used my Slow and Steady set from There She Goes, along with the mini Holiday's Galore set. My image was stamped on Gina K. White and then colored with my Copics. I added a piece of Wild Wasabi striped ribbon and a Cuttlebugged panel of Wild Wasabi cardstock. Pretty simple card for me huh!! That is it for me now, stay tuned for a SUPER exciting post later!!

For You...hmmm

So, this card started out as one thing, and then did a 180 and ended up somewhere else. I sat down to make something because I knew I wouldn't be here to post today(Thursday), and it just didn't work the way I thought it would. Don't get me wrong, I still like it, but I don't know..I guess I just pictured something else...anyone else do that? Anywho, I used my Friendship Flowers set from There She Goes. The vase was paper pieced with some DP from the SU Urban Oasis Pack. I paired it with Basic Black, Regal Rose and Kiwi Kiss. I then colored the flowers with my Copics. The ribbons are from SU, and the brads are from American Crafts(thanks Jodi!!)!! Well, hate to post and run...but my pillow is callin my name!! Thanks and have a great day!

A Hooga Booga Sketch

I decided that I needed some stamping therapy today, so my nephew was patiently wheeling about my house in his walker chasing the dog while I stamped a little. Luckily, I have been thinking about this card since I saw the sketch this morning, so when I sat down to make it, it was easy peasy!! Before I get into all the details, here is some news about all the happenings over at My Favorite Things. On Monday, Michelle posted the weekly spotlight. This week’s spotlight with My Favorite Things is on the 6″ x 6″ paper packs. They are currently available in Spring and Summer collections. There are 25 sheets per pack, five patterns, five sheets of each. Be sure while you are there to check out the matching ribbons, as well as all the new sparkly goodness that MFT has to offer!! We also announced the new Bubble Bin? The Bubble Bin is a selection of stamp sets that may be retiring or there may just be too many of a particular set in inventory that week. Each Monday the sets will change, quantities may be limited and sale prices will run from Monday to Sunday (or until they’re gone), so be sure to check it out each week to see if there’s something you “need” in the Bin! Also, this weeks HTDT tutorial, as well as the weekly challenge, is up, and our very own Amy has done a BANG UP job!! Her cards really are some of my most favorites, and her style is one that I envy. She is teaching Paper Pleating this week, so be sure to check it out!!
Okay, before you go into overload, and my nephew gets bored, here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge. I chose to use my Summer Paper Pack(the one that is on sale..hint hint) and the matching ribbon(actually the pink one is from the Spring Pack and the organdy from the Summer). I paper pieced my girl monster from Hooga Booga, and then colored the rest of her with my Copic markers. Her face was cut out separately too, to give it more dimension. Then I covered her and her hair bow with Dazzling Diamonds glitter using my two way glue pen. The flowers and brads are from MFT(couldn't find them on the site, so I think they may be unavailable). Okay, his patience is wearing thin...gotta run!! Have a great day!!

Prettie Wednesday-Jackie's Color Combo

So, Two weeks ago, Miss Jackie P.(Officer Jacque to some), challenged all the Prettie's to make a card using Kraft, Chocolate Chip, and Baja Breeze. I was SUPER excited cause I am in LOVE with my Parisian Breeze paper, and those are it's main colors. I decided to use an older Paper Pretties stamp, Cuddle Me. It is by far still my most favorite Sophia. I love all the other ones, but this one sorta started it all for me, so it is hard not to, kwim? I stamped her in Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then paper pieced her dress with some PB DSP. I used my Copics to color the rest of her in. The sketch is from Jen's Sketch For You To Try from Saturday. all the ribbons are from SU, and the brads are from Doodlebug. I used my Oval Nestabilities to cut out Sophia, and my Ribbon Slide tag dies to cut out the sentiment. All the DP is from the SU Parisian Breeze pack.
Wanna play along? Just make a card using this color combo and leave a link here or on one of the other Pretties posts and show us what you got!! Speaking of Pretties, don't forget to go around and check out what GORGEOUSNESS they have created for this challenge...I am sure they are all amazing!

Do You KNOW What Time It IS???

I can't sleep..it is either the cold medicine, the time change, or the 3 2hr naps I took today(hey, I am sick, give me a break), but I am NOT tired, so I am stamping. This isn't a good thing though, I have a FULL day tomorrow, and I can't be tired...but I have a feeling I will be. Oh well, what can you do? Anywho, I saw that Emily posted the color challenge, so I decided to use it to make the Mojo Monday card I was working on anyway. I had been dying to use my Fluttering By set from Verve, so I decided it would work perfect with the CC-Rose Red, Always Artichoke and Basic Black. I stamped both butterfly's with Black in on Gina K. White and then colored them in with my Copics. I then added a layer of Perfect Pearls to them, so in real life, they shimmer. They were then cut out and popped up. The sketch, as I said before, is this week's Mojo Monday sketch. Both DP's are from SU. I did add some black May Arts polka dotted ribbon at the end...I have the hardest time making a card without ribbon on it!! The brads are from Doodlebug. I did a lot of piercing, and the Gina K. White layer was run through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. That is it for me now, I should probably try to force myself to sleep..wish me luck!!

Boy Oh Boy..

I swear, I haven't felt this bad in years, seriously!! I should be sleeping, but that is all I have done since yesterday morning, and I am now wide awake and bored out of my mind. I took that opportunity to make a card for today's Featured Stamper challenge. I chose a fairly simple one, cause I really don't have a ton of energy. This weeks FS is Judy(stampingqueenjar). She is so talented and such a sweetheart! I chose this card of hers to CASE. I changed the colors-went with Basic Black instead of Chocolate Chip, the embellishments, added a layer, added DP, and did piercing not stitching. The images are from Pocket Silhouettes. All accessories and supplies are from SU. Well, that is all the energy I have, off to the couch to whine!!LOL!!

Flowers Of Happiness...

This has to be one of my FAVORITE There She Goes sets, seriously!! It is called Flowers of Happiness, and it is awesome!! (I just went to the site and saw that it was out of stock right now, but it should be in on the 13th, so never fear!!) I love the gorgeous flowers in the set, and the sentiments are PERFECT!! When I saw today's Inspiration Challenge, I immediately thought of this stamp set. I wanted something in a simple color scheme, so I chose this dress, but decided to pick one color from it and run!! I decided to go with a Basic Black, Gina K. White and Rose Red. I used some Rose Red DP too. The small flowers were stamped twice, once on the 1 1/8ths inch square attached to the card, and again on another sheet of paper. I cut out the flowers, attached them with a brad from Pink Hedgehog Paper Crafts. The other flowers are actually the center of a bigger flower, I stamped those, cute them out, added a brad from PHPC, and then popped them up. All the images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with my Copics(R59 and R85). I believe the ribbon I used(the B&W) is from May Arts and the Rose Red is from SU. I punched my sentiment out with my middle sized oval punch and then layered it with the large oval punch. The sketch for this card is Taylor's Cupcake Sketch for this week. That is it for me now, thanks for looking!!

Hippity Hoppity..

Easter really is on it's way, and I have barely made a dent in my Easter cards for this year...gonna have to get it in gear, huh!! I am still super sick, so I am gonna keep this short! I made this card for the last Paper Pretties release party. It was part of a challenge that Charmaine gave us, to make a card that was inspired by a cartoon character. I chose to use Winnie the Pooh as my inspiration. My Bunny Hop Sophia image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. White and then colored with my copics. I then layered it with Riding Hood Red and So Saffron. The DP is from the Washington Apple DSP from SU, as are all the embellishments(except my pesky spiral clip). The sentiment was cut out with my Round Tab punch from SU, as well as it's layer. The buttons are part of the Bouquet and Latte buttons, and all have white taffeta tied through them.
Well, that is it for me now...I am off to stamp..or maybe sleep...we shall see, LOL!

Ready, Set, Go!!!!

Today's Limited Supplies challenge was a super fast one, so I decided to play...now I am beat and I don't want to upload...nice. I am forcing myself to though, and then, I believe I will take the longest nap EVER!! The challenge was to make a card in 30mins. or less, mine only took 19mins. from start to finish...woohoo!! To top that off, it is an SU only card, woot!! Incase you are wondering, I have felt bad for a long time about not using my SU stuff as much as I should. I am FIERCELY loyal to their ribbon, card stock, embellishments, and inks, but I know I neglect their stamps. I am trying to do an SUO card at least two or three days a week...often times it has been more, but that is my goal. Unfortunately, I slip a lot of the time and add something that isn't SU, or use my Nesties. I just wish SU would get it over with and carry them, oh what a happy girl I would be!! Anywho, I started with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I used my new favorite DSP(ya, I know I say that a lot, and tomorrow I will have a new one, but for today, FAVORITE), Parisian Breeze. I paired it with my Friends 24/7 set. The bird was stamped in Chocolate Chip, as was the sentiment, and then I used an aquapainter and my Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze ink pads to highlight it. The ribbons are from the Valet Ribbon originals, and the brads are from SU as well. I did a slight amount of sponging and it was done.
Well, that is it for me now, for real. Back to the couch!! Have a great day!!

Snail Mail

The stupid chest cold that has been running rampant around here has finally found it's way to me, so if any of this seems incoherent, blame the meds, LOL. I am super tired, but I wanted to post something today, so I am gonna try to make this pretty quick.
I am in LOVE with these super cute snails from the new Slow and Steady set from There She Goes. It is just the CUTEST!! When I saw that today's Ways to Use it challenge was to make an ATC, I kinda grumbled, because I really don't like them. Not that they aren't gorgeous, but it isn't a whole lotta room to work with, and I have next to no use for them. So I decided that I would make the ATC, but then show it as a card too, that way I can still use it. I stamped the snail twice on Gina K. White 120lb paper and then colored it with my Copics. The second shell was cut out and popped up. I then stamped two dragonflies, colored them, and cut them out. I layered the main image with Regal Rose and Pumpkin pie. I then added a larger piece of Chocolate Chip behind it, and added some silver brads down the side. The ribbon tabs were then added, along with my sentiment. All the punches used were from SU, as well as the ribbon and brads.
To add the ATC to a card, I used a Chocolate Chip base, then layered Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose. The DP is from the Sweet Always pack. The scalloped border was cut with my SU punch. Isn't it cute??? Not bad for someone who is hopped up on cold medicine, LOL!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
