For my card, I'm not certain what got into me, but there is a LOT going on that I don't normally do. Do you see the lined paper, a la Joanne Basile...yep, that's a new one on me!! And that Notebook Edge Die-namic...that's Jody Morrow's fault!! The bright colors?? Well, I blame the weather...it is warm-ish and sunny right now, and compared to what it has been I am LOVING it!! I even used felt....really, I went all out, LOL!! My card stock is Blu Raspberry from MFT, and Melon Mambo from SU. I used some striped American Crafts DP, and the lined is from the Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday collection. I used Michael's brads, and SU ribbons. I used my Hearts a Plenty Die-namic to cut my hearts out of the MM card stock, and some White MFT Felt, and the Button Quartet Die-namic to cut out my DP button.

It is time for day three of this month's new release teasers from My Favorite Things, and that means that today is Pure Innocence day!! My FAVORITE day of teasers...well, they all are really, because I am TRULY blessed to be a part of this MAGNIFICENT company!! Today, there are 5 new PI's being introduced: Butterfly Kisses, Believe in Magic, You're So Tweet, Primrose, and Out on a Limb. I have seen LOTS of samples from my team mates, and let me tell you...WOW!! These girls ROCK! I have chosen to use the new Butterfly Kisses...swwwwooooonnnn!!!

For my card, I started by stamping my Jolinne on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry. My butterflies were cut out with the new Butterflies Die-namic being released this month!! I added mini brads down their centers to make them special, lol! My sun was cut out using my Curry card stock, and some more DP...Razzleberry Lemonade from SU. My ribbon is from May Arts, and my brads are from both Michael's and MFT. I used the new Simply Scallops Die-namics to make my scalloped layers, as well. You can't see my sentiment very well, my bad, but it says Capture Each Moment...so pretty!!

Crazy 4 Challenges-Vintage/Shabby Chic

Okay, now seriously, be kind to me....BE KIND. I am NOT a Vintage-y, Shabby Chic, kinda girl...at all. I LOVE the look of it, and admire people that can pull it off, but I HATE it when I do it. It never looks right to me....egad!! Unfortunately for me, this week's challenge over at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog is to make a one of "those" kind of cards...and not being one to back down from a challenge, I struggled through.

I literally pulled out all my tricks for this card. I even used flowers, PRIMA flowers, and my old Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware kit from SU. Wow. I started by stamping my Cupid image from the My Favorite Things Inspired by Love set, in Pale Plum ink. I then stamped my sentiment over that with Perfect Plum. I then layerd the image with those two colors of card stock, and some Mellow Moss. The edges were lightly sponged with Pale Plum ink, as well. My crochet trim came from MFT, and I used the MFT Faux Crochet Border Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!! Be sure to hop around and check out my other crazies!! LOVE these girls!!

You Spin My Spurs

WOOHOO!! It is time for this month's My Favorite Things new release teasers to start, and I for one, and SUPER excited!! Aren't you??!! Tonight, we have three new sets to show you, as well as a peek at a new companion line for the Die-namics!! I have made a card using the new Fred Bear Out West....cause I love me some Fred Bear!!

Today, there is a prize hidden on one of the designer's blog posts. As you make your way through the Teaser Time posts, simply leave a comment on each blog, for your chance to win one of two sets being given away today. A winner will be chosen from the comments on the pre-selected blog before tomorrow's teaser list goes live, and will be posted on Kim's blog HERE. As always, you can find the master list of participating designers HERE on Kim's blog.

I won't bore you with a ton of details, but I will say that Fred was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with my Copics. I then layered him with Really Rust, Sage Shadow, and Hot Fudge. My DP is an OLD SU pack. My border was made using the Star Border Die-namic, and my stars were made using the Stacking Stars Die-namic. The ribbon is one I got from an MFT pack from a long while ago...so long, I don't remember which one, LOL!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and I stamped the cactus from the set onto my DP.

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 8

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday post!! This card is pulling double duty this week, as it is also my sample for this month's Guest Designer Challenge for My Favorite Things. For more details about that, check out this thread here, on SCS. I can't WAIT to see what you all come up with using our "Recipe For Love". LOL!! Don't forget, the winner can get up to $100 worth of free stamps, as well as, get to post along side the DT next month during teasers and participate in our monthly blog hop!! Cool, right??!!

If you aren't familiar with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, it's a challenge I pose to myself, and all my friends and readers to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. You don't have to post ON Friday to play along, so don't worry about that, just have fun, and be sure to leave a link so I can jump around and see what you have been up to!!

For my card, I used the Amanda Baird set Love at First Sight. Apparently, I am a moron, an it is no longer available, which is just about par for my course, but it is a stamp that I own, and love, and I haven't used in FOREVER....oh well, I suck. LOL!! My DP is an old SU pack, and my card stock is all from SU.
Well, that is it for me for now....better go, before I mess anything else up. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!!

To My Favorite Secret Agent...

Happy Birthday BOOOOOOOONNNNNDDDDD!!!! LOL!!

If you are just now joining us, no, I am not having a seizure!! Today, we are celebrating the birthday of the ever fabulous, amazingly talented, wildly hilarious, and SWEET as sugar, Wendy Bond!! You may know her from her blog, Bond Girl Bliss, but if you TRULY know her...she is a TREAT!! I love her more than I can explain, so when I was asked to participate in her birthday hop I was MORE than enthusiastic!! Today's hop started at Karen's Blog...the ringleader. If you are here now, you should have come from Cath Groden's blog.

For my card, I used the super cute, Time To Celebrate à la mode set. She was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with my Copics. I used the MFT Banner Strip Die-namic, and the Banner Day Alphabet, to make my Wendy banner. She better know that I love her, because I used the LAST of my FAVORITE paper on this card...I may have a tiny strip left, but not much!! I used the Small Scalloped Border Die-namic to make my Wild Cherry scalloped layer under my FAVORITE DP panel.

For the inside, I used MORE of my favorite DP...because I LOVE her....LOL!! I also used one of my favorite sayings from the MFT set, Lovin' From The Oven.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Your next stop is Jody Morrow's blog....isn't she FABULOUS!!

To my girl Wendy:
Thank you for being there for me when I need a laugh, a cry, a shoulder, a pat on the back, a friend, a partner in crime, and some of the best advice I have ever received. I never imagined that meeting people through this little hobby(obsession), would allow me to meet people that I connect with INSTANTLY, and think of as friends....even though we've never met in person, I feel like I know you and I KNOW that we would be the BEST of friends if you were here in "real" life. I love you girl, hope you have a birthday that is as amazing as you are, and as amazing as I think you are!! HUGS and KISSES......you ho!!!
