For my card tonight, I started with the CUTIE little Karate Girl. She was stamped on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I looked up some photos of Karate Gi's, and they aren't always white, so I took some liberties!! I layered her with Lemon Drop, Wild Cherry, and Black Licorice. I used the new By the Numbers Die-namics for my 6, and the Notched Tag Die-namics for my tag and heart. I attached them with a button from PTI, with some Maraschino Twine through it. For my sentiment, I used the Say What Die-namics. My paper is from the Echo Park For the Record pack. I used the Little Open Scalloped Strip for my scallops. My ribbon is from MFT.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and a sentiment from the new Karate Boy set. It's so fun!!!! I like having both sets, gives you so many options for sentiments!!

Well, that is it for me for today! Be sure to head to Kim's for a list of designers participating in today's teasers. Thanks for stopping by!

Teaser's Day Two

Hey everyone, and welcome to night two of this month's My Favorite Things Release Teasers! Tonight we are showing three new sets: Just the Ticket, and two new à la modes!! Before we get to my card, here are some details!!

Here are the details about the upcoming release on August 2 at 10 PM EST:

  • The MFT release is on August 2 at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available August 2 at 10 PM EST.

  • The guest designer contest is ON! Check out the forum for details on how YOU can win over $100 in stamp sets and play along with the DT for a month.

For my card tonight, I started with this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, to make a tent card. I have NEVER made one of these, so it kinda kicked my butt. Two hours on a card makes me cranky, LOL! I do like what I did, but it was a PROCESS to get here.....let me tell you. I used Basic Grey card stock from SU, and some GORGEOUS Authentique Uncommon paper. I followed the SCS tutorial, found in the resources section, and cut out my base. I used the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics to make my scallops inside my window. My image is the GORGEOUS new a la mode Bundle of Baby. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with Copics. I paper pieced her shirt, and the babies blanket, though. She was then cut out. My ribbon is some from Michael's, and I used some glitter dots I got from Gina K. The final step before putting it together was to cut out my sentiment using the Sweet Stack Label Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for today! Be sure to head to Kim's for a list of designers participating in today's teasers. Thanks for stopping by! Also, be sure to go to the Crazy 4 Challenges blog to check out my AWESOME teammates!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday 28

Happy Friday everyone!! Since it is Friday, at least for a little while longer, lol, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. Sorry I am running so behind today, life....sometimes it doesn't always go the way I plan.

If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my un-inked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been un-inked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword..FSF28!!!

For tonight's card, I used a SUPER cute Pure Innocence set, Splish Splash. He was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored with my Copics. I used Blue Raspberry, Orange Fizz, and Fossil card stock. My paper is from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly a Kite. My white ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel, and my orange is from Michael's. I also used some Caribbean Twine. The brads I used are from Michael's, and I used SU punches for my sentiment. I also used the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another sentiment from this adorable set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!

It's Teaser Time!

It is time for this month's My Favorite Things teasers to start, and I am DYING with excitement. I LOVE each release just a little bit more every month, don't you??!! Tonight, we have two gorgeous sets to show you: Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy, and By the Numbers. For my card, I chose to use the Sympathy set....but before we get there, here are some details about this month's goings on!!

  • If you'd like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to Kim's blog NOW! Be sure to leave comments as you go for a chance to win one of 2 $10 vouchers being given away daily, just for leaving a comment. :) Check Kim's blog every day for the winners.

I started by stamping my sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy set, on a piece of GP White. I then used my Framed Greetings Die-namics to cut it out. I then used the soon to be released, new Fancy Flourish Die-namics to cut out my flourishes in Banana Split(MFT) and Going Gray(SU). My paper is from the Authentique Blissful pad. My ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel. My circle was cut out using the new, soon to be released, Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics. The brads I used are from Michael's. For sympathy cards, I try to keep them pretty simple, but I prefer elegant...so this is where I ended up.

Well, that is it for me for today! I will be back later with this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge.
Be sure to head to Kim's for a list of designers participating in today's teasers. Thanks for stopping by!

Zoo-pendous Blog Hop Challenge!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to our FINAL night of There She Goes Blog Hop Challenges!! Tonight, we have the CUTEST ANIMAL SET EVER!! I mean, seriously, IT'S SO CUUUUUUTE!!!!!(think FLUUUUUFFY, and you will know what I am going for, here, LOL)

Tonight's hop started at the There She Goes Blog, so head on back there to get started. If you are here now, you should have come from Jessica's Blog..she is FABULOSO!!!

Peacocks, and hippos and snakes, oh my! Judy Rozema was our lucky winner from this year’s Mother Of All Blog Hops and one of her prizes was the chance to work with TSG to design a stamp set in a theme of her choice. She said that she would like a fun zoo stamp set that incorporated some animals that are different than you might find in other stamp sets and we knew just who the perfect illustrator would be for this! Melyssa’s adorably whimsical zoo animals will have you going wild!

Zoo-pendous is a 6x8 set that will sell for $24.

Would you like a chance to win the Zoo-pendous stamp set? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Zoo-pendous Blog Hop Challenge post. After you have finished checking out the eye candy and have left some love, return to the TSG Blog and add your name to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Zoo-pendous stamp set. The winner will be announced Saturday July 30th during the Release Party Chat.

I am not all that thrilled with my card, but I am a procrastinator at heart, and I have worked the last 8 days straight...I'm tired, so bare with me!! I DO love the image, the sentiment, and the colors....just not sure...I think I missed something with this one. I started with a previous Taylored Expressions Sketch. I colored my peacock on X-Press It Blending card with my Copics, and then layered it with Night of Navy, Rich Razzelberry(both SU), and Sour Apple(MFT). My ribbon is SU, and my twine is Lilac from MFT. The brads I used are from Michael's, and the spiral clip is from Creative Express. For my paper, I used My Mind's Eye, Lime Twist, Happy Go Lucky....I swear, I love their paper but HOLY LONG NAME STAMPMAN!!!

Well, that is enough chatter out of me! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Next stop, my ever fabulous, and totally over the top talented SBFF, Jodi Collins!! LOVE HER!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to night two of this month's There She Goes blog hop challenges!!! I hope you are LOVING this month's sets just as much as we are....seriously...they are so cute!!! Tonight's hop started at the There She Goes blog, if you are here now, you should have come from Jessica's blog!!

Awhile back Torico had posted some of her sketches on her Facebook page and this adorable boy and his puppy got lots of attention! So many of you said that it needed to be made into a stamp and we agreed. Not only is this mini set great by itself but it can also be combined with many of Torico’s other TSG stamp sets for even more versatility!
Float My Boat is a 3x4 set that includes a
total of 9 stamps and will sell for $7

Would you like a chance to win the Float My Boat stamp set? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Float My Boat Blog Hop Challenge post. After you have finished checking out the eye candy and have left some love, return to the TSG Blog and add your name to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Float My Boat stamp set. The winner will be announced Saturday July 30th during the Release Party Chat.

For my card tonight, I started by coloring my cutie pie little boy on X-Press It Blending card with my Copics. It was then layered with So Saffron(SU), Orange Fizz, and Hot Fudge(both MFT). I then used some My Mind's Eye Fine&Dandy paper, and cut it out with my Circle Nesties. It was layered with the same colors. I used the MFT Catch A Wave Die-namics for my wave border on the side. My ribbons are both SU, brads are from American Crafts, and my spiral clip is Creative Express. I followed a past Mojo Monday sketch...so fun!

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great time on the hop!! Speaking of hopping, better get to Karen's Blog..she's AH-mazing!!!

MFTWSC30- You're a Stitch!

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, technically, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things!!

For my card tonight....well, I blame Jackie Pedro. You see, Jackie is one of my favoritist people, and she keeps using this GORGEOUS paper-Odds and Ends from Cosmo Cricket. I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! I didn't even color anything on this card...because I didn't want to take away from the GORGEOUSNESS of this paper....and with an AMAZING set like Sew Nifty, well, no coloring necessary!! I started by stamping my sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock. I then layered it with Fossil.....it's so yummy, seriously!! I then cut out three thread spools using Fossil, and the Sew Nifty Die-namics. I layered them together, so when I wrapped my Maraschino twine, it wouldn't fold the edges under. I stamped my thread spool with Memento Rich Cocoa on those, first. My other card stock colors are Wild Cherry, and Sno Cone...both from MFT. I used the Medium Simply Scalloped Die-namics for my scallops. My ribbon is from SU, spiral clip from Creative Express, and my brads are from American Crafts.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and added another SUPER CUTE saying from this set.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's blog for a full list of designers participating in today's sketch!!

Shake It, Shake It...nope.

So it's Saturday, which would mean it is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. This week's challenge was to make a shaker card.....ugh. I tried and failed 4 times, and finally had to give up. My fellow crazies are ALL OVER this challenge, but me....I just couldn't do it. I started a new job this week, and my OCD is in overdrive. None of my shakers were NEARLY good enough by my standards, so I decided to make a card, PRAISE my sistah's , and move on....sorry, I suck. :)

For MY card tonight, I started by stamping the SUPAH CUTE new Claire Keay- Ahoy Matey stamp on X-Press It blending card. I then colored it with my Copics, and layered my image with Baja Breeze, More Mustard, and Not Quite Navy. My paper is from MME Stella&Rose Hattie pack. I used it to cut out my waves, using the My Favorite Things Catch a Wave Die-namics. I also used the Sunshine Die-namics, and more of the paper for my sun. For my Pirate flag, get it...P is for pirate, I used the Typewriter Alphabet and the Fishtail Banner Die-namics. I then used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment. My ribbon is from SU, my brads are from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now. Be sure to head to the Crazy blog to see what the other girls...who don't suck at shaker's, came up with.

I started by stamping my squirrel from the There She Goes set, You're So Punny. I stamped it on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. I then layered him with Snow Cone, Jelly Bean Green, and Fossil. My paper is from the Basic Grey Archaic paper pad. I used SU wide ribbon, and some Linen Thread. All my buttons are from PTI. My brad's are from Michael's, and I used SU punches for my sentiment.
